All Saints’ Church, Harpole, is home to a friendly and outgoing Christian worshipping community whose origins go back to the time of the Domesday Book.

We are always pleased to welcome anyone to our services or other events. The present church dates from about 1150 and was greatly restored in the early 20th century.

We are part of the Benefice of Bugbrooke, Harpole, Kislingbury and Rothersthorpe, which means that we share our Rector, Stephen French, who lives in Bugbrooke.  He can be contacted on 01604 831621.

The Benefice Office (01604 830373) is also in Bugbrooke and is open from 9:00 to 11:30 on weekdays except for Thursdays.

The Church Wardens in Harpole are Allan Leroy (01604 830423) and Roger Fountain (01604 830340).

All Saints’ is open during every day and all are very welcome to come into the church. There is a small area at the front of the South aisle which is particularly suitable for a peaceful time.

There is a regular pattern of services in the church.

First Monday 6.30pm Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

Second Sunday          11.15am        Family Service or Holy Communion

The Christmas services include Christingle, Carols by Candlelight and the Crib Service culminating in the first celebration of Holy Communion for Christmas at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve.

The Church Choir sings at most of the services and practises at 10.00am on Thursdays. New members are always welcome (phone Allan 01604 830423)

All Saints’ has a fine ring of six bells. The bellringers practise on Thursdays at 7.30pm and ring before most of the services (phone Graham 01604 832291). You can read about the bells and ringers here.

The Mothers’ Union meets on the last Monday of each month at 2.30pm in the Methodist Church in School Lane. The meetings are open to all and there is a wide variety of speakers.

There are a number of social events throughout the year including the Church Fete. The Samuel Leek Concert is an annual event commemorating an 18th-century choirmaster at which a wide variety of village and local talents are displayed.

All Saints’ is fully committed to safeguarding and complies with all necessary procedures. Further details including contacts are on the notice board inside the church.
